ERUUF Coronavirus Updates

Campus Update: November 19, 2020

At this time, though the state of North Carolina is in Phase 3 of Reopening, ERUUF is operating under our own Phase 2 Reopening Guidelines.  (The Phases and Guidelines can be found below.) At this time all ERUUF programs including Sunday services remain online. Outside space on campus is available for small group use by reservation.

If you need to reach us, the ERUUF Office will be open on Thursdays from 10-2, and by special arrangement as might be needed.

Clicking for a Cause, Meals on Wheels Partner for Veterans

Like other groups,  the pandemic has changed how Clicking for Cause functions. Instead of meeting in-person to assemble blankets and shawls as a group, we meet online.  Also, many of the organizations we used to service have stopped collecting donated items. As a result, we've had to be creative. In honor of Veteran's Day, we partnered with Meals on Wheels to provide the Veterans they service with 33 gift bags (one for each of their clients who was identified as a Veteran). Each bag included either a lap blanket or a scarf and hat set and included a small tag that thanked the veteran for their service along with care instructions.

After the year we’ve had, the time we’re currently having, you want me to think about what I’m grateful for? Seriously? Seriously. It took me a long time to learn this, but you don’t have to be happy to be grateful. In fact, gratitude actually is one...
